Maryam is a Health & Safety Consultant on the Emerging Markets and Client Acquisition Team at Public Services Health & Safety Association (PSHSA), where she works on innovative solutions for emerging issues in workplace health and safety, brings new health and safety research to market and develops and facilitates health and safety training, including Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification and Train the Fit Tester for Respiratory Protection. She has a Masters of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Heath from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing her occupational hygiene designation and safety certifications. 

Maryam enjoys working with clients across a variety of sectors and finding new digital solutions for occupational health and safety issues, such as using emerging technologies to identify fatigue in the workplace. She specializes in identifying and creating focused tools and solutions that can alleviate client concerns and improve the client experience. Some of her recent achievements include leading the development of PSHSA’s artificial intelligence-powered chatbot and the development and facilitation of "Managing Mental Health Return to Work in Healthcare Organizations", a new training course targeted to healthcare supervisors and managers.
