This firm's work site was a two-storey house under construction in Surrey, B.C.
WorkSafeBC inspected the site and observed two workers installing the truss system to the top plate of the second-level walls.
The workers were not using personal fall protection systems and no other form of fall protection was in place, exposing the workers to a fall risk of up to 6.1 metres. The firm failed to ensure fall protection was used, a repeated and high-risk violation.
