Two seasonal workers died after a fire broke out at a remote gold mining camp in Yukon on Oct. 3, according to the Yukon Coroner’s Service.

The victims, both 20 years old and from British Columbia, were fatally injured when fire tore through the Brewer Creek gold mine camp, located approximately 100 km south of Dawson City. Five other workers were medevacked to Dawson City Community Hospital for treatment.
