Truck-mounted unit can distribute sand, gravel, salt and fertilizers
Hilltip has released the IceStriker™ 8000 CM Combi Spreader, a truck-mounted unit with an 8.0 cubic feet capacity. This fully electric spreader can distribute bulk sand, gravel, salt, sand-salt mixes, and fertilizers. It features a GPS-controlled system for precise material distribution and a 370-gallon integrated liquid tank for pre-wetting or direct brine application.
The spreader operates with 12- or 24-volt dual motors encased in a weather-resistant enclosure and utilizes Hilltip’s HTrack™ for real-time equipment monitoring. It includes a stainless-steel auger, a polyethylene hopper, and additional equipment such as a spray bar and a hose reel for specialized applications. Standard features also include corrosion-resistant components and an accessory wire for lighting enhancements.
