Hellberg Safety’s Listen Only is a combination of a listen-only headset and hearing protector. Built-in electronics block harmful noise over 80 dB from reaching the ear while communicating on your two-way radio, cell phone or listening to your iPod. This means that a person working in an environment with a high noise level can communicate with people without having to leave the noisy area or remove the hearing protectors, the company said. This listen-only headset weighs 9.2 oz. and is totally dielectric, both for cap mount and headband. It’s been designed to easily mount Hellberg’s face shields. The ear caps rotate to 180 degrees for resting position. Listen Only has been tested in compliance with ANSI S3.19-1974, Hellberg said. www.hellbergsafety.com
