COS partners with Canada Safety Council for special reports

COS has teamed up with Canada Safety Council for two special reports.

The reports feature some of the leaders in the safety industry today. The 5-Star Safety and Training report will recognize Canada’s top trainers. Meanwhile, the 5-Star OHS Software and Technology Providers report will showcase the best OHS software and technology providers.

“As a national safety organization, we understand the importance of proper training and creating environments engineered to support safety at work,” said Gareth Jones, President and CEO of the Canada Safety Council. “We are pleased to partner with COS and proudly support the efforts to recognize successes in training and the use of software tools that are actively helping to make a difference in safety.”

The Canada Safety Council is an independent, knowledge-based, charitable organization dedicated to the cause of safety. It provides national leadership in safety through information, education and collaboration.

Its mission is to lead the national effort to reduce preventable deaths, injuries and economic loss in public and private places throughout Canada. The CSC serves as a credible, reliable resource for safety information, education and awareness in all aspects of Canadian life – in traffic, at home, at work and at leisure.

Focusing on safety education as the key to long-range reduction in avoidable deaths and injuries, the Council serves as a national resource for safety programs, working with and through partner organizations who deliver and/or fund these programs.

Through this partnership, COS hopes to expand its reach and insight into Canada’s OHS sector to better reflect the concerns of our readers. Learn more about our Best in Safety reports here.
