Worker crushed by truck at Cintas factory in Quebec

One worker died after being crushed by a truck at a workplace in Quebec, according to a report.

The incident happened on Friday, April 10, at the Saint-Michel borough, noted CityNews.

Quebec’s workplace safety board/Commission des normes, de l'équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) said they received a call about the incident around 8:30 a.m. near Albert-Louis-Van-Houtte Avenue and Jean-Rivard Street.

The worker was employed at a factory belonging to Cintas, a uniform maker, according to the report.

According to the report, the worker was in the yard outside the factory when they were fatally crushed by a semi-trailer truck.

Phuong Anh Ho Huu, spokesperson for CNESST, said that the agency is investigating “to understand the circumstances surrounding the death,” according to the CityNews report.
