ANCA-ZOLLER integration boosts tool regrinding efficiency at FRAISA

Tool manufacturer FRAISA has streamlined its regrinding operations by integrating ANCA grinding machines with ZOLLER measuring systems. Designed for precision toolmakers, this solution enables automated data exchange between ZOLLER's »venturion« measuring device and ANCA’s ToolRoom software via the WheelServer interface.

The system ensures accurate, repeatable measurement of grinding wheel packs, reducing idle time by 20% and rework by 10%. Operators measure wheel packages directly, with results automatically transferred to the grinding machines—eliminating manual input and improving efficiency.

Used across FRAISA’s 20 ANCA machines and all ZOLLER devices, the integration supports high-volume reconditioning of 350,000 tools annually and aligns with the company’s ReTool® sustainability goals.
