Company says it is aimed at facilities including healthcare institutions and universities
American Plant Maintenance (APM Steam), a steam systems maintenance provider founded in 2001, has highlighted its heat exchanger assessment and testing service, aimed at facilities including healthcare institutions and universities.
The service addresses common risks such as scale build-up, tube bundle leaks, and water hammer, all of which can compromise worker safety and system efficiency. Offerings include pressure testing, isolation valve verification, descaling cost estimates, and energy savings calculations.
Undetected leaks in heat exchangers can lead to pressure and temperature fluctuations and increased equipment failures, making proactive inspection a key preventive safety measure.
