New hydraulically extendable box plow lets operators adjust clearing width on the go for winter maintenance
Hilltip has introduced the SnowStriker SFT Flex, an expandable box plow for tractors, loaders and skid steers from one to four tons, the company said. Hydraulically extendable side sections let operators adjust clearing width on the go, spanning four feet three inches to nine feet six inches across three models, according to Hilltip. The blade tilts and oscillates to maintain surface contact on uneven ground, and side plates fold independently for use as a straight blade. "Compared with other box plows, the SFT Flex offers unmatched versatility for use in a wider range of winter maintenance applications," said Craig Sandmann, managing director for Hilltip North America. The plow carries a two-year warranty, the company said.
