PSB Industries offers VOC removal system

PSB Industries has introduced a catalytic oxidation (CatOx)-based system designed to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from CO₂ off-gas streams at renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities, including landfill and dairy-based sites.

The system uses precious metal catalysts — platinum and palladium — to convert VOCs into carbon dioxide and water at lower operating temperatures than conventional thermal oxidizers. Unlike adsorption-based systems, it operates as a continuous, once-through process, reducing maintenance demands.

The purified CO₂ stream can be recovered for industrial or beverage-grade resale, helping operators improve carbon intensity scores and support regulatory compliance. More information is available at psbindustries.com.
