Company expanding safety lineup with illuminated PPE and lighting products
J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has expanded its safety portfolio with a new line of light-up protection products aimed at improving worker visibility in low-light and high-traffic environments. The range targets DOT road workers, construction crews, trucking, towing, emergency response personnel, and personal safety use.
The lineup includes lighted safety vests, triangle road lights, body and work lights, baton-style warning lights, headlamps, a beanie with integrated LEDs, and LED safety glasses. Features across the products include long runtimes, rechargeable or solar backup power, weatherproof construction, and visibility of up to one mile, depending on the item.
The company says illuminated PPE can help workers meet ANSI/ISEA and OSHA visibility standards and reduce nighttime crash risk, citing Federal Highway Administration data on the benefits of adequate lighting.
