Series features rugged die-cast aluminum housing and is designed for harsh industrial and outdoor environments

Pfannenberg, a global leader in thermal management and signaling technology, has introduced its new PROTECT Series of industrial signaling devices in the North American market. Unveiled ahead of the NFPA Conference & Expo (June 16–18, Las Vegas), the series features rugged die-cast aluminum housing and is designed for harsh industrial and outdoor environments.
The product line includes sounders and combined sounder-light units, offering up to 80 selectable tones, high-decibel output up to 116 dB(A), and compatibility with both Xenon and LED visual signals. With certifications including SIL2, MED, and UL Class 1 Division 2, the PROTECT Series is engineered to meet stringent safety and durability standards.
Flagship models include the PRO 10, a high-performance sounder with marine and explosion-proof certifications, and the PRO X 10-05, a combined audio-visual unit providing long-range visibility and acoustic coverage. Both models are designed to reduce device count, minimize installation time, and enhance reliability across a wide range of applications.
