Technologies support precision laser drilling, welding and cutting for aerospace, automotive, energy and medical manufacturers
Prima Power LASERDYNE showcased its laser processing technologies at IMTS 2026, held September 14 to 19 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The Brooklyn Park, Minnesota-based company presented its BeamDirector and Laser Next Head systems, which combine motion accuracy of ±0.012 millimetres with proprietary process-control software including OFC2 Absolute, SmartRamp and SmartPierce. The technologies support precision laser drilling, welding and cutting for aerospace, automotive, energy and medical manufacturers. Prima Power LASERDYNE representatives Bryan Nichols, Carl Bryan and Fabrizio Anzalone discussed applications with attendees. The company said it is also testing high-powered welding systems as it expands its laser processing capabilities.
