According to FoodSafe Drains, the seamless stainless design meets NSF/ANSI/3-A standards for hygienic food processing
FoodSafe Drains, a division of Global Drain Technologies (GDT), is highlighting its FoodSafe Area Drain line for food and beverage processing and other sanitation-critical facilities. According to the company, the fully spun, seamless stainless steel design meets NSF/ANSI/3-A standards and helps eliminate bacterial harborage points. The drains come standard with a custom-fit strainer basket, with an optional magnetic locking strainer available. Three configurations, round bottom, cone bottom, and shallow, are offered in T304 or T316 stainless steel with an 8-inch standard diameter and a 32 GPM flow rate. The company says the line carries a Load E rating for heavy traffic.
