Worker hospitalized after forklift accident

A worker was transported to hospital late Monday afternoon after a workplace accident in London, ON, reports CTV News London.

Speaking with CTV, Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that an as-of-yet unnamed male worker at firm Coldstream Concrete (located on Quaker Line in Middlesex Centre, ON) was injured after being pinned underneath a forklift.

The man was rescue from underneath the forklift by the fire department and taken to Victoria Hospital. OPP and EMS also responded to the scene. The Ministry of Labour was notified of the accident.

Police told CTV News that the worker suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
