Gas station worker killed by gunman while on duty

Peel regional police have identified the 21-year-old woman gunned down outside a gas station in Mississauga, Ontario Saturday night, and she was an employee on duty at the time.

Police issued a press release identifying the woman as Pawanpreet Kaur from Brampton, Ontario. She was shot multiple times outside the Petro-Canada gas station where she worked around 10:40pm. When emergency responders arrived on scene, they tried to help Kaur, but she died from her injuries.
