FUCHS Lubricants Co. has introduced RENOCLEAN GL 8000, a galvanizing line cleaner designed for steel mills to improve surface preparation before galvanizing and galvannealing. The alkaline cleaner uses proprietary buffers, surfactants, emulsifiers, and corrosion inhibitors to remove rolling oils and particulate soils while minimizing residue and flash rust on steel surfaces. RENOCLEAN GL 8000 is formulated as a low-foaming solution to support bath visibility, line stability, and reduced foam-related maintenance, with a mild pH intended to enhance operator safety and extend bath life.
