Now covered under HCAI Seismic Certification Preapproval OSP-0875
Q-PAC has announced that its Multimotor Plenum Fan (MPF) is now covered under HCAI Special Seismic Certification Preapproval OSP-0875, giving engineers a seismically certified fan option for critical facilities in high-seismic regions. The complete system, including all plug fan models, frame and control panel, passed full-scale three-dimensional shake table testing to ICC-ES AC156 criteria and is certified to IBC 2024 and CBC 2025. The standalone fan OSP enables both new construction and retrofit air handler projects, supporting essential facilities such as hospitals and laboratories ahead of California’s 2030 hospital seismic deadline.
