Wesgarde, a U.S.-based distributor of electromechanical and electronic power components, is promoting its MP Series 87 Heavy Duty Marine Rated Circuit Breaker for demanding construction and other harsh-environment applications.
The switchable high-amp breaker offers a 25–250 amp range, manual reset with true on/off isolation, and panel or surface mounting with dual terminal stud sizes to accommodate various wire gauges. It carries SAE J1171 ignition protection, ABYC compliance, and an IP66 weatherproof rating for use in marine, RV, and outdoor equipment.
According to the company, the breaker uses a double set of contacts with increased copper and silver content, cadmium-free materials, and is tested for resistance to vibration, shock, salt spray, and high humidity. It is engineered in the United States.
