The Big Bill Flashtrap Vented Coverall aims to improve wearer comfort without sacrificing protection for both flash fire and arc flash exposures. Vented traps, located on the back of both knees, allow cooler air into the coverall, pushing warmer air up through the upper back and out the side air vents. Upper back vented traps allow the hot air to be pushed outward, exiting the coverall, keeping workers cool. These vented traps are made with FR mesh and are specially designed using a double layer of folded fabric that does not expose the skin. No debris can enter the coverall, says Big Bill. The coveralls have a concealed Nomex taped two-way zipper, snap front closure and lots of pockets, including two large double stitched back pockets and two slash pockets at the waist.
