ION SENSE® launches next-generation PID sensors

ION SENSE® has unveiled its latest innovation in photoionisation detection (PID) with the launch of the ION SENSE® PID 10.6eV 3 and ION SENSE® PID 10.6eV 10 sensors. The new products were introduced at the Sensor + Test 2025 exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, and set new standards for volatile organic compound (VOC) detection.

The ION SENSE® PID 10.6eV 3 offers a detection limit of 0.5 parts per billion (ppb) with a range of 3 parts per million (ppm), while the 10.6eV 10 model provides a 1 ppb detection limit and a 10 ppm range. Both sensors feature enhanced performance with a 50% reduction in response time, extended lamp and filter life of 15,000 hours, and advanced diagnostics for improved operator safety. Designed to maintain stability in challenging environments, these sensors also include robust electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection.
