Designed to remove siloxanes from gas streams to enhance equipment protection and operational efficiency
PSB Industries has introduced a packaged skid system designed to remove siloxanes from gas streams, aiming to enhance equipment protection and operational efficiency across a broad range of industrial applications.
The system uses a proprietary sacrificial carbon-based media capable of reducing siloxane concentrations from parts-per-million to near-zero levels. By preventing silica buildup, the technology helps safeguard engines, turbines, burners, and other sensitive equipment, while also protecting downstream deoxygenation catalysts and membranes from contamination.
Engineered for flexibility, the skid supports gas flow rates from 50 to 10,000 standard cubic feet per minute and pressures from 50 to 800 psig. It features a replaceable bed for simplified maintenance and an optional particulate filter for added system protection.
PSB Industries states the system’s extended media life and robust design contribute to lower operating costs and reduced downtime, making it suitable for both new and retrofit installations.
