Surface Igniter, LLC has spotlighted its DS300K Universal Dryer Replacement Igniter, a CSA-approved hot surface igniter built to restore reliable ignition across a wide range of gas dryer models. According to the company, the OEM-quality part is RoHS and REACH compliant and carries the required Proposition 65 warning, and replaces more than a dozen part numbers to simplify sourcing for service organisations. Surface Igniter advises technicians to disconnect the power source and shut off the gas supply before installing the igniter, which weighs 0.5 lb and includes a bracket kit. The Tennessee-based manufacturer has produced ignition components since 1997.
