Sperian Protection Group’s Uvex brand of safety eyewear has launched the Uvex Seismic sealed eyewear. The Uvex Seismic is a breakthrough in ergonomic, adaptable design combining comfort and high performance protection against impact, sun, wind, dust and debris, Sperian said. The adaptive design can be worn with snap-in temples or headband and with or without the cushion-lined sub-frame. Workers can now adapt to their environment and address a range of hazards—grinding, chipping, shaving and sanding—with the Uvex Seismic. It offers wearers a contemporary, flexible design with a range of comfort and adjustability features for all-day wear. Soft nose pads conform to a variety of facial profiles and minimize slippage. The high-quality foam sub-frame provides cushioning and protection from fine particles. Padded temple tips deliver behind-the-ear comfort, while the flame-resistant headband adjusts for an excellent fit. The Uvex Seismic meets ANSI Z87.1-2003 (High Impact) standard with and without the cushion-lined frame, and is certified to comply with CSA Z94.3 standards only when worn with cushion-lined frame.
