'Wave technology’ respirator
Moldex has introduced AirWave, what the company calls the next wave in respiratory protection. It is the next step past disposable respirators. Its patented wave technology allows the wearer to breathe easier and does not make the user uncomfortably hot. It has an exclusive easy-breathing wave design with less resistance and better breathability. This means a worker could wear the mask all day to provide the level of protection needed. It is a comfortable, durable respirator that increases the rate of worker compliance and decreases costs, says Moldex. Its larger surface area means more airflow and the flex-fit design moves easily with the user’s face and stays in place. It has a pinch-free moulded nose bridge, soft foam nose cushion and a Softspun lining for increased comfort. Its Dura-Mesh shell resists collapsing in both heat and humidity and the mask meets heat and flame resistance in accordance with ANSI/ISEA 110-2003 Section 7.11.1.
