Company expands options for insulated socket work
Cementex is highlighting its Screwdriver DriveHandle, an insulated driver-style tool for socket applications on or near live electrical systems. The tool features a 1/4-inch square drive head, a 6-inch insulated steel shaft and a cushion grip handle. An isolated 1/4-inch DriveHandle allows use with a ratchet or torque wrench and is rated to a maximum of 10 foot-pounds. The double-insulated tool is tested to 10,000 VAC and rated for 1,000 VAC / 1,500 VDC, complying with IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505.
