Company offers five models of product designed for ergonomic cutting tasks

Xuron Corp. of Saco, ME, has released a new line of ergonomic precision scissors designed for specific cutting tasks. The product line includes five models: Model 441 for thread, yarn, and embroidery floss; Model 440 for thin soft metals; Model 9180 with a serrated blade for materials such as Kevlar®, leather, and parachute cord; Model 9180 NS with non-serrated blades for cutting jump rings; and Model 9180ET for thin photo-etch metals.
The scissors feature return springs, soft rubber hand grips, and are designed without finger loops. They can be used with either hand and are constructed from alloyed steel with a black finish. The suggested list price starts at $29.95. The scissors are manufactured in the United States.
