Candidates must have had a career in this field and have also made contributions to the CARSP. Interested parties can nominate someone who is nearing retirement or is retired; have had at least 15 years of work experience in the field of road safety and have been a CARSP member at some point.

Nomination Process

Those who wish to nominate someone must submit their nominee’s name, current job title, current organization and province/territory. They must also include the nominee’s length of service in the field and the list of the positions the nominee has held with other road safety organizations, associations, or academia, and the number of years served with each.

Nominations must also include a description of the nominee’s contributions to road safety and/or to reductions in road fatalities and injury crashes in Canada, as well as a description of the nominee’s contributions to CARSP. Submissions must be up to 600 words.

Interested parties must also provide any documentation that would support the cause of the nominee and describe any road safety awards the nominee has received. Submit all nominations to [email protected].
