Ontario's Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident
A 26-year-old Mexican construction worker has died after being injured at a work site in Ontario, according to a report.
The incident happened on Thursday evening, reported The Sarnia Observer.
Emergency crews were called to King Street West in the Lambton Shores community around 6:30 p.m. that day, according to the report, citing Lambton OPP.
The worker was transported by paramedics to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said the death is not considered suspicious .
Members of the Office of the Chief Coroner attended the scene. Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating the incident, according to The Observer.
