Worker was trapped inside industrial machinery
A worker has been hospitalised with life-threatening injuries following a workplace incident in Alberta.
The incident occurred early Thursday morning, according to CTV News.
Emergency crews from Lamont and Bruderheim responded to the scene at approximately 2:46 a.m.
They extricated the worker from the machinery and subsequently airlifted them to hospital via STARS Air Ambulance.
Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) has launched an investigation into the incident. As of publication, no further details regarding the worker’s identity, the nature of the worksite, or the specific circumstances leading to the entrapment have been released, according to CTV News.
